Martin Knights

Martin Knights is  a  Fellow of The Royal Academy of Engineering. He leads a Global Technical Practice for Tunnelling and Geotechnical Engineering and Sciences.

Martin wasTutor to The International Tunnelling Association Committee for The Use of Underground Space(ITACUS) and has a specificinterest in the strategic use  of underground spaces in urban areas particularly the socio –economic aspects that will benefit the future development of cities

Martin is Senior Vice President and Senior Technology Fellow of The Engineering & Management company CH2M. He is a Fellow of The Institution of Civil Engineers; Trustee of TheBrunel Museum London;  Freeman of City of London; awarded British Tunnelling Society Medal 2010; and is a Past President of International Tunnelling Association 2007-2010.
